GENERAL GUIDELINES

- The competition and workshop will be conducted entirely in English.
- Each school must submit the official application form.
- A single teacher-in-charge must register the team(s).
- If registering two teams, it is strongly recommended that two teachers accompany them.
- The teacher-in-charge or another designated teacher must be present at all phases: Workshop, Preliminary Round and the Grand Finale.
- Students in Grade 10, O/L, or A/L are eligible.
- All participants will receive certificates of participation.
- Participants must uphold high standards of professionalism, respect, and integrity.
- Cheating, plagiarism, or unethical conduct will result in immediate disqualification.
- Teams must comply with all schedules and deadlines.
- All decisions by judges and organizers are final and not subject to appeal.
- Organizers reserve the right to amend rules and will communicate any changes promptly.

- A mandatory workshop led by an academic and corporate partner will be held before the competition.
- Teams must have a preliminary product idea ready for the Opening Ceremony and Learning Workshop.
- After the workshop, you will have 2 weeks to develop your business plan and prepare for the Preliminary Round.
- Initial Business Idea Summary:
- Max 500 words
Microsoft Word format - Must highlight your concept and relevance to community concerns
- Max 500 words
- Final Submission:
- Complete business idea document
- Presentation slides or video content (optional)
- Submit before the Final Round (template provided)
- Each team has 5 minutes to pitch during Preliminary and Final Rounds.
- Delivery format is up to the team; not all members must present.
- A screen will be available for optional visual aids.
- Final Round Prototype: A functional or conceptual prototype is mandatory.

- Each team will be paired with a mentor to support idea development.

Your business pitch must address a real community problem and provide sustainable solutions with environmental, social, or economic benefits.

- Lifestyle diseases (e.g., diabetes, obesity)
- Food insecurity
- Limited access to healthcare
